Mike Derrios is a proven leader and former federal executive who has led change at the highest levels of government. He served as a member of the Senior Executive Service for more than a quarter of his civil service career and has extensive government experience spanning three Cabinet-level Departments. A recognized thought leader in federal Acquisition, with over 30 years of demonstrated experience leading large global organizations, Mr. Derrios offers subject matter expertise in procurement, program management, and overall government operations. He is also the creator of the FedWins™ Capture Readiness Simulation model.

His last position was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition and Senior Procurement Executive for the U.S. Department of State where he led a $15 billion dollar spend portfolio. Previously, he served as the Head of Contracting Activity for the U.S. Coast Guard, Executive Director for the Passenger Screening Program at the Transportation Security Administration, and as a Program Manager for the TSA PreCheck® program. As a plank holder at TSA, Mike helped to establish the new agency after the 9/11 tragedies and transition it from the Department of Transportation to the Department of Homeland Security.
